Kishtwar teacher whose name was written on a poorly written application Sunday refuted to have written the application and termed this as a “handiwork of some deleterious persons.”
He said he has been victimized by some unknown elements through the social media.
Mudassir Akbar Sheikh, 28 year old teacher, was selected by Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board recently as General Line Teacher faced victimization after some mischievous elements circulated an application attributing him with poor draft in English language for adjustment against vacant post of Botany subject at Higher Secondary School Kishtwar on social media.
“After scrutinizing the application, it comes to the notice that both the hand writing of the applicant as well as the forwarding agent is same and has done a prank with me,” said Mudasir.
While talking to Rising Kashmir, Mudassir Akbar Sheikh said that the incident comes as a shock to him, added that he is M.Phil in Economics from Barkatullah University main campus but not in Botany subject as mentioned in the application, besides did B.Ed from Jammu University.
“The matter when came into the notice of Education Minister he directed Director School Education Jammu to look into the matter and at the instance of Director Education, CEO Kishtwar put me at scrutiny test which I passed successfully” said Mudassir Akbar.
CEO Kishtwar, Vinod Kumar confirmed to Rising Kashmir that the teacher passed the scrutiny test. “Regarding authenticity of the application, I have set up an expert committee to verify that and hopefully they will submit it on Thursday.”
Despite passing more than a month for appearance of the letter, Kishtwar police is still clueless about the fraudster.
SP Kishtwar, Jugal Manhas said: “We are in process, we need to get details from an internet agent and it will still take atleast one month.”
